*Heh. I've been damn lazy with the bLoG, as you would have noticed by now. Haha. Sometimes, I have a lot of things to say, but I am either in uni, or even in Sydney! Haha. Welcome to my world (smile).

Anyway, I will be going back to Singapore this coming Sunday. I am going back to attend a wedding; William's and Mandy's wedding. Pray for their blissful marriage. Having said that, I am looking forward to my kuay chup, chee cheong fun, char kuay teow...(slurp)

By the way, my housemate, Win has graduated and is going back home for good. Man, I wish him well. Cheers, mate!

*A moment of inspiration emerged in, of all places, the bathroom. I was taking my shower, and I looked down at...the red/blue taps. It was then that I suddenly had a thought. A brief moment of inspiration.

Having relationships or friendships is like taking a shower. There is the red tap that symbolises red, hot passion. There is the blue tap that represent the blue, cold days in our lives. We balance both taps to attain the right temperature.

If you have a conflict, you turn cold. It is up to you how you wanna keep the warmth. You can choose to turn up the heat, but it will mean giving more, and taking longer. Furthermore, the cold is still there. It's just being overshadowed by the warmth, for now. Do you have such patience?

Alternatively, you can turn off the cold. It is faster, no doubt, but how many of us can do that? To forgive and forget? It's always best to balance both, but we can't always be that successful. Sometimes, we just have to accept that, after trying our best, there are still times when some things are beyond our control.

*Looks like Chelsea has been forging steel lately, signing the likes of Joe Cole, Juan Sebastian Veron, Glen Johnson, Damien Duff, Geremi, and Wayne Bridge. Do they all translate to instant success? Only time will tell. Unleash the critics next week, as the new EPL season begins!

There is this new Singapore gal in my class. She's in my course for one semester, apparently on an exchange program. Just into the second week of lessons, and she is complaining about the huge gulf in standard between NUS and UQ. That's right. According to her, the standard in UQ is much, much higher. Surprise, surprise! Haha. Apparently, most of the material in NUS are spoon-fed to the students. No offence, mates. It wasn't me who said it. Whistle....

The weather looks kinda gloomy today. Can't wait for spring. Gonna tan and enjoy myself in this final semester at Brissie. I miss my kuay chup...

*Hmm...come to think of it, I've not played football at all for the whole of last semester. Slack. It's also partly due to the fact that I'm a weak player. Then again, it's also due to the notion that I can only play at left-back. Wot crap! I would prefer to play in the left midfield position, but who am I to disagree with the dominance of certain players in the squad. Oh no, not me..

First week of studies have just passed. Looks like this is gonna be quite a semester. Haha. Going for a trim in a while. My hair's in a mess, and my room, and my table, and my life...
